Renting in Poland is broken
Tenants lose deposits when they need to move before the lease ends. There's no easy way to find a replacement — so you either pay a penalty or lose months of rent.
Utility costs are hidden until you sign the lease. You find out about the monthly expenses only after moving in — and by then it's too late.
Agency fees are steep, and foreigners face an even bigger information gap when searching for apartments.
And once a replacement is found, the paperwork begins: a lease takeover, a sublet, a roommate agreement. There are no ready-made templates, lawyers are expensive, and getting the contract wrong is scary.

And the cost calculator gives a ballpark for any district and size — rent plus utilities — in a couple of clicks.
Built by renters, for renters
We rent in Warsaw ourselves and we've been through all of it — lost deposits, utility bills no one warned us about, a price you only learn after moving in. Passflat grew out of that pain.
Passflat is grounded in our own renting experience in Warsaw: moves, agencies, and a lease takeover. Right now that's costs by building, listings (lease takeover, roommate, sublet), and free document templates.
